VEGA Goes Hawaiian Style

VEGA’s Optional Womens USAG Team flew to Honolulu, Hawaii recently to attend the “Gymnastics in Paradise” meet at Joe Rapp’s Hawaiian Island Twisters club.

Several of the athletes and their families arrived to the island a few days early to work out in the HITS facility and adjust to the heat and humidity (not to mention, working on their tans). “The girls did a great job, with several of our team winning first and second places in their age groups and the Level 8s taking 2nd PlaceTeam Award” smiled Lana Parra, VEGA co-owner and team parent. “And, of course,” she added “it was really nice to get out of the rain for a few days.”
