I received my degree in music from The University of Oregon School of Music in 2004. I have studied the guitar for over 16 years and teach people of all ages and levels. I am comfortable teaching in many styles including Jazz, Rock, Folk, Fusion, Funk, Blues and I'm open to all musical interests. I can teach you about the worlds of improvisation, composition and music theory as they apply to the guitar and beyond. I’ve composed, recorded and released two CDs and I am currently working on my third album. I perform regularly in the Portland area with my band Cyrus Grape.
