Mandy Potts • Compulsory Director and Optional Girls Gymnastics Coach

“Few things in the world are more powerful than a positive push. A smile. A word of optimism and hope. A "you can do it" when things are tough. - Richard M. Devos”

Gymnastics has been a part of my life since I was a young girl. I spent thirteen years as a competitive gymnast, most of which were coached by VEGA's own Zdravko Stoianov. After retiring from the sport at the ripe old age of nineteen, I attended Oregon State University were I earned a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science. Following graduation I worked in the fitness industry for two years as a personal trainer. Eventually my path lead back to gymnastics and to VEGA. Only this time on the coaching side. I currently have the privilege of working with both the girls compulsory and optional teams. It's very rewarding to be a part of their lives, as my coaches were to mine, and watch them advance and grow in both gymnastics and in life itself.
